On September 11, 200I, the lives of all Americans were changed forever. Lives were lost and hearts were broken. So many hopes. dreams and aspirations gone forever. We must never forget and we must fill the void left in our world when on that infamous day we were given thousands of reasons to join together in an effort to make our world a better place.

... Hatred bares severe consequences!
When we reflect back upon that day, let us realize that a global outpouring of love and tolerance can supe1·cede any future acts of hate, spreading goodness and decency throughout our world. The way you choose to live your life and the decisions you make each and every day of your life do make a difference and can make our world a better place.

... Put a little love in your heart!
Let's remember to take a positive, proactive approach to instill goodness and decency in our youth so that all who were lost will always be our beams of light towards a better tomorrow. Give of yourself Extend a helping hand-Share a smile!

The Joseph Maffeo Foundation was established to benefit our community through its support of individuals and organizations in need of financial assistance. as well as by recognizing, through scholarship awards and charitable donations, individuals who by their actions exemplify the goals and objectives of this foundation.

The Joseph Maffeo Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization as defined in Section 102(a)(5) of the not-for-profit Corporation Law. Contributions and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. The foundation shall not be conducted or operated for profit and no part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of any director, office or other private person.
