2020 was a challenging year for all of us, and even though the Joseph Maffeo Foundation was unable to hold its annual Casino Night event in 2020, your generous support enabled us to raise in excess of $125,000 toward the building of the new Joseph Maffeo Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health. We cannot thank you enough for your confidence, trust, and support in light of all of the hardships and uphill battles we’ve had to face together. The Joseph Maffeo Foundation is honored and humbled by your uncompromising support of our mission – a true testament to your kindness and belief that we are continuing to make our world a better place for the children of Staten Island.

It comes as no surprise the events of 2020 greatly impacted Staten Island University Hospital; however, we are proud to note that the plans for the new Joseph Maffeo NICU are still intact and will be completed in 2022!

As we look forward to seeing our fundraising efforts come to fruition, we ask that you join us as we forge ahead with a virtual Casino Night in 2021.
